Q: What type of games are included in this database?
A: This solution includes only OTB classical games submitted by Tournament Directors. Rapid, Blitz, and bullet games are not included, nor are any online games.
Q: Why are there missing games from the database?
A: Not all tournament games get submitted from tournaments, although game results do get submitted to CFC and possibly FIDE. To ensure that your OTB games are incorporated here, feel free to ask your Tournament Director to send all games.
Q: Why are some games designated as "Not available"?
A: Sometimes games are submitted with just the basic info (e.g., names, result) but not the moves or ECO (opening code). To ensure that your OTB games are incorporated here, feel free to ask your Tournament Director to send all game details.
Q: Where does ChessProfiler get its data?
A: All data is derived from public web sites. For Canadian players, sources include the Canbase II archive (many thanks to Hugh Brodie and team!) and the CFC and FIDE web sites.
